Former Hamilton Mayor to Lead Township Economic Development Group

The board of the directors of the Hamilton Partnership-an economic development group made up of local business leaders-recently voted to name former Hamilton Mayor Jack Rafferty the group's new leader. The partnership's current executive director Brian Haney is set to step down April 1.

The partnership is comprised of about 40 local business leaders who fund the organization and use it in part to keep an open line of communication with town hall on the subject of economic development. Rafferty oversaw creation of the partnership during his tenure as Hamilton's mayor, and now says he is looking forward to working with Hamilton's current mayor, John Bencivengo, to make Hamilton a better place in which to do business.
