Travel and Transportation

Desiree.Daniels

One of the main reasons that New Jersey is such a popular place to live is its easy access to all major forms of transportation.    Central New Jersey is approximately an hour commute to both Newark International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport.

Besides the incredible highway access, we have several rail lines that service all commuters.   Below is a list of general information for all the local commuters needs.

NEW JERSEY TRANSIT RIVER LINE

Service between Trenton and Camden. River Line light rail.

Ticket Information

Buyer your tickets from Ticket Vending machines (TMs located on the platforms at each station. Validate your ticket in Validation machines before boarding the light rail cars.  Validated tickets are good for two hours.  Tickets purchased from NJ TRANSIT bus operators and monthly passes do not need to be validated.  Retain your valid ticket throughout the entire trip. NJ TRANSIT Fare Enforcement Officers will make random ticket inspections. If you do not have a valid ticket, you will be subject to a warning or fine.

TICKET OPTIONS

Adult One Way Tickets-$1.90

Monthly Passes-$58

Reduced Fares for Senior Citizens and Passengers with Disabilities- $.95

Children’s One way Fare-$.95

Adult Discounted 10-Trip Ticket $16.25

Consult NJ TRANSIT personnel, River LINE Owner’s Manual or printed timetables for more information.

BUS SERVICES

NJ TRANSIT TICKET INFORMATION

Exact fare is required when boarding NJ TRANSIT buses.  Dollar bills and coins are accepted.

  • Monthly passes are available for frequent riders at a discount from the regular fare.

Buy a pass at a NJ TRANSIT Ticket Agent or call NJ TRANSIT for more information.

  • Transfers must be purchased when boarding the bus.
  • Rail Feeder Fares are available for NJ TRANSIT monthly or weekly rail ticket holders.
  • Present your pass to the operator at the time of boarding.

Capital Connection

For travel between Trenton Rail Station and Downtown Trenton or the State House, look for buses and bus stops with

the Capital logo.   For schedule information, pick up a Capital Connection timetable, which highlights all 601,606,608, and 609 buses that connect Trenton Rail Station with Downtown Trenton and the State House.

Princeton Jitney

Free to all rider.  Runs Monday-Friday from 5:30 am-9:00pm

  • Direct connection with the newly modified University shuttle routes along Nassau Street.
  • Route begins at Borough Hall for the morning commute and the NJ Transit Dinky Train Station for the evening commute.  Coordinated with the NJ Transit Dinky train schedule.
  • The jitney’s 20 minute “loop” runs in a circular, clockwise route from the Dinky Train Station to Borough Hall, along Bayard lane, Paul Robeson-Wiggins-Hamilton, Harrison Street, Nassau Street, Mercer Street, Alexander Street and University Place.

Market Report - May 2008 - Mercer County

Desiree.Daniels

Market Report - 2008

I am happy to provide you with the following Mercer County Market Report (individual township statistics will be provided on June 1).

It seems that the flood gates of inventory we say in April have slowed for new listings.   Which is great in order not to have an “over saturation” of homes on the market.    I am also pleased to tell you that we not only took 227 fewer listings in May, but the look at the sales.   Pending from last month were 301 with 766 new listings to pending 212 with only 539 new listings.

THE INVENTORY IS MOVING!!!!

My only advice to you all is … price it right, stage it, and put your best foot forward and your home well sell.    And don’t hesitate to call my team to do the job!!!!

Contact The Desiree Daniels Team at (609) 448-2222 for all your real estate needs!!!
